With 14 years of clinical anesthesia experience and a background as a CVICU nurse, I’ve cared for patients and families through some of their most vulnerable moments. I graduated as valedictorian of my RN class and was honored to receive the 2020 FANA Guiding Light Award.
Those accomplishments are meaningful to me, but the heart of my work is the person trusting me with their care.
My vision for JVE
An anesthetic procedure may be part of our everyday work, but for a patient and their family, it can bring fear, uncertainty, and a profound need to feel safe. I believe exceptional care means having both the clinical knowledge to care for someone safely and the compassion to understand what this moment means to them.
My vision for JVE is to bring together CRNAs who share that belief—who listen, offer reassurance, and care for each patient with empathy and intention. I want patients to feel seen, families to feel heard, and facilities to know the people caring for their patients bring both skill and heart.
Because behind every procedure is a person trusting us with their life. That trust deserves everything we know—and the very best of who we are.
